About Me

Hi, it's Mona!
After I finished high school, I moved to Berlin to work at  Studio71, a prominent digital media and entertainment company, where I gained valuable experience managing large campaigns and digital projects. Eager to pursue my dream of directing films, I moved to Breda, the Netherlands, to commence my studies in "Creative Business".
While at University, I engaged in numerous external projects that enabled me to acquire a deeper understanding and passion for filmmaking, storytelling, photography and directing.
My efforts culminated in the production of my first documentary, "Tommy and Rowan," which won the "Best Picture" and "Best Cinematography" awards at the BUas film festival.
I later moved to the United Kingdom to undertake specialized courses in TV production and documentary filmmaking at Bournemouth University.

Afterward, I joined the video department of the world-renowned "Tomorrowland" festival in Antwerp as a creative editor intern.
Subsequently, I decided to devote myself more fully to my personal passion projects. Consequently, I embarked on my most substantial documentary project to date, titled "Only the Forgotten is New."
My exceptional concept earned her the "Fest Film Lab Award"
at the Fest Film Festival in Portugal and the
"Young Creatives, Pitching Night" prize in Breda.
